A warm welcome awaits in our four star self-catering accommodation which is within easy reach of the famous market town of Melton Mowbray, the University town of Loughborough and multi-cultural Leicester.

WALTON THORNS FARM HOLIDAY COTTAGES

Old traditional courtyard buildings have been converted into two luxury self-catering Cottages. They are an ideal base for holidays,short breaks, business accommodation, visits to relations and friends or for weddings, parties and festivals. Perhaps you need to move out whilst renovations are made to your home or a new house is not quite ready to move in to. We have a super location here at Walton Thorns Farm and our cottages are a great place to stay to enjoy the countryside and yet be close to many places of interest. All bedrooms are spacious with contemporary en-suite bathrooms. Living areas are open plan. We have retained the original charm of the buildings keeping the vaulted ceilings and old oak beams in The Old Hay Barn and large picture windows in Shire Cottage. Each has its own private patio with views over the open countryside.

FARM TRAIL and CYCLE HIRE

A Farm Trail for the enjoyment of all visitors to Walton Thorns Farm has been marked out and winds its way around the farm past ponds, woodland, hedgerows and streams. Cycle Hire is available if you would like to enjoy a bike ride down the quiet lanes and perhaps stop at one of the excellent local pubs.

Guided tours of our collection of vintage and classic Ford, Roadless, County and International tractors are available to those visitors who are interested.
