Terms and Conditions - Walton Thorns Farm

TERMS & CONDITIONS

When a booking is made and deposit paid a contract of hire then exists between the hirer (named person making the booking) and the owners of Walton Thorns Farm.
A deposit of 50% of the holiday price is required to secure all Walton Thons Farm Cottage bookings made up to 5 weeks before arrival. Bookings made less than 5 weeks before arrival require payment in full before a confirmation can be given.
Payments of deposits are to be made by Credit/Debit card or BACS only. Cheques only by special arrangement. BACS details available on request.
Deposits are non-returnable. If we are able to re-let the property we will refund the deposit. Any deposit returned will have a £25 deduction for administration costs.
All confirmation details and payments will be acknowledged in writing or by e-mail.
A contact name, postal address with post code and telephone number will be required at the time of booking and the person making the booking will be considered to be the hirer unless otherwise informed.

The balance of payment is due on arrival by the same Credit/Debit card as that used for the payment of the deposit or cash (no cheques accepted).

If you need to cancel please contact the owners as soon as possible to explain the circumstances and we will try to re-let the property.

Minor damages are part of life and we do not expect these to be paid for but those of a more substantial nature must be paid for in full.
The hirer is responsible for any damage caused.
If any damage is caused the amount will be invoiced and must be paid in full.
The owners may request to walk round before visitors depart.
The owners retain the right to access the cottages at any reasonable time.

The owners are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from the information provided on this site.
The owners are not liable for any losses or damages incurred by visitors during their time at Walton Thorns Rural Centre or staying in Walton Thorns Cottages.
The owners are not liable for any injury, losses or damages incurred while walking Walton Thorns Farm Trail or using cycles hired from Walton Thorns Farm.
